Solvent Recovery System

At SRP Engineering and Tech, Our Solvent Recovery System is designed to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and lower operational costs through the recovery and reuse of solvents. Our solvent recovery systems are engineered to meet the unique needs of industries such as chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, paints and coatings, and environmental services. By recovering and purifying solvents, we help businesses minimize their environmental impact, reduce material costs, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Our Solvent Recovery System is a specialized unit designed to extract and purify solvents from liquid waste streams or emissions, allowing them to be reused in the production process. The system typically uses techniques such as distillation, filtration, and evaporation to separate the solvent from impurities or contaminants. The recovered solvent can then be repurposed for further use in the manufacturing process, reducing the need for fresh solvent purchases and minimizing environmental impact.

How Solvent Recovery System Works:

  • Waste Solvent Feed: The process begins with the introduction of waste solvent or solvent-containing waste streams into the system. These waste streams may include solvents mixed with contaminants such as oils, chemicals, or water.
  • Separation Process: Various separation techniques are used to recover the solvent. Distillation is the most common method, where the waste mixture is heated, and the solvent is vaporized based on its boiling point. The vapor then passes through a condenser, where it is cooled and converted back into liquid form.
  • Purification: After separation, the recovered solvent may undergo further purification processes, such as filtration, adsorption, or additional distillation stages, to remove remaining impurities.
  • Recovery of Solvent: The purified solvent is collected and stored for reuse in the production process, ready to be recycled into the operation or sent for further refinement.
  • Waste Disposal: The non-volatile waste or contaminants are separated and disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner, in compliance with regulatory standards.
